A member of DU court has written to the chief election commissioner challenging the latest amendments to statutes of Delhi University Act. V K Agarwal claims that the executive council's decision on March 6, of making the vice-chancellor eligible for reappointment for another term is a violation of the electoral code of conduct.

Monday morning blues arrived in a darker shade for DU teachers this week-a memo threatening an FIR against them for skipping election duty at 10.30am last Saturday. Unnerved, they scanned their emails for the duty notice and found it had been sent late in the work day on Friday.
