Outages across Delhi as power demand peaks

For the third consecutive day, Delhi saw a record-breaking power demand. At 3.58pm on Friday, the peak demand touched 5,810MW. Sources said this could be the all-time high of the year as many offices and commercial complexes will be shut on Saturday which could bring down the peak demand.
