IOC posts Rs 916 cr loss in Q3 as govt gives half dole

Flagship refiner-marketer IndianOil Corporation on Thursday reported a loss of Rs 961.45 crore in the December quarter, against Rs 3,331.96 crore profit in the year-ago period, as the government paid less than half of cash subsidy it owes to the company, erasing foreign exchange gains.
