No new policies in Delhi till President's rule lasts

With simultaneous Lok Sabha and Delhi Vidhan Sabha elections ruled out, the city is likely to be run by lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung for quite some time. However, with the current assembly kept in suspended animation, all 70 of the city's MLAs will retain their "powers, privileges and immunities, including salaries and access to MLA funds".
